Mental Health Workshops

An informal group talk about mental health. A safe, supportive environment that you can come and be around others who can help process and vent or you can just come sit and listen. The point is I would rather you be in one of our chairs quiet, but knowing you aren’t alone than you being by yourself in the dark thinking no one cares. You are worth it.

From Passion to promise

Welcome to Brick By Brick Fitness! I'm David "The Beast" Douglas, an 8 year Marine Corps veteran with a passion for fitness and community. My journey began in Oahu, Hawaii, and took me through various places as part of a Marine Corps family, finally settling in Wisconsin.

My fitness adventure started while stationed in Okinawa, Japan, in 2006.  where I won my first bench press competition. This sparked my love for powerlifting. After a tour in Afghanistan in 2009, I represented the Marine Corps as a powerlifter, winning numerous competitions, including the Junior Bench Press world record in Bathe, England.

Upon leaving the Marine Corps in 2014, I started training clients in my garage in 2015, which grew into "Lock It Out Barbell." We expanded to our current location in 2021 and rebranded as Brick By Brick Fitness. Our name reflects our commitment to building a strong, supportive community for everyone, regardless of their fitness goals.

  • Single Ply Squats: 870lbs

  • Hold/held multiple state, national, and a couple world records
